I do this from my computer not a phone.  How do most people interact on this site?  Through their computer or their phone?  That may be one of the reasons that threads aren't as active as they could be.

Most people now-a-days use thier phones for most interaction even if they are in the same room in a number of cases.  So, if there was more activity years ago then now.... that could be why?

I do have a cell phone, just got it a few months ago.  But it is one of the new alcatel flip phones and while it can do apps and browse (if not well because it doesn't have the large screen) I only use it for texting and actually talking.  Just like my old oyster phone I had years ago.

I know from chat logs many people seem to use their phones. Personally I prefer to do most things on the computer.
As for the lack of activity, I feel that may simply be due to things moving a certain way, namely with things such as twitter and tiktok. I never really liked those types of sites, but it seems to be where everyone's at these days.
