Me personally just love the idea of starting as friends and it turning into something romantic. My mate is tough on the outside but always lets his guard down around me. I enjoy the openness and mutal understanding of each others internal feelings. Someone who can go through a rough patch with you and still keep you smiling I think is ideal. I personally think when in a relationship (Emotion wise) you can never ask for too much. I also think if a relationship is centered around the loving aspects vs the sexual then you would have a long happy future ahead of you with that person. (Sorry for rambling :P I just love topics like these!)

heh, well talking about perfection, even if it was a real thing, i wouldn't want it, perfection has hard limits and boundaries set on it, whereas imperfection can strive past those boundaries, so in my eyes a relationship is a lot like balancing, you find the person who seems to round you out, bring out the best in you, and you do the same for them. As for me? well... i just go with what i feel, i learn about the person and see what is open to me as far as a relationship goes

The perfect boyfriend. I'd think you'd find him in a reflection of yourself. Rather than focusing on different aspects of how he should be perfect put your energy into how you can be this way. Then, when you find someone who shares common similarities build on them. Share and invest time into them. Let yourself fall in love with countless things big and small. With enough enjoyable time together like this you will feel he coudln't be any more perfect "for you". Now with this endless list of things you've found about that special person you're probably going to someday look back and realize that the list of things you were looking for as "The perfect boyfriend" really didn't compare to who you've found because he is so much more than you could of ever imagined in any description.
