IF i were to, as a part of FurrTrax, create an instant messaging system, including the app for android, that was dedicated to furrys, which would use the same logins as the existing furrtrax site, would people be interested in it?

It would have the same current features as the existing chatrooms, but it would be 1 on 1.

I would also create a desktop client so people could use it from their PCs, and a Jquery client so it could also be used from the web browser or a small popup on Mac, Linux, ETC.

But... Will it allow message cloud saving? So that if you chat for a year, you can still go back and read the first message?

Would it be possible to integrate it with the normal messaging system somehow?

I like the Idea it would make messaging with all your friends both new and old easier the vurrent messaging page could use a tweak where you can mass select and delete messages aswell without being converted to HTML or whichever it is at the moment

i can set the retention to whatever i want to, i hadnt thought about that, but yes, i can set it higher

i have a Blackberry curve, so how would that work?

can the curve use android apps? i know some blackberrys can but not all....

you may be able to use the web version which would function the same way except without push notifications.
