CHAPTER ONE: Home
Illusion stared out the window of her humble little home, watching the flowers start to glow as they absorbed the rising suns rays. The cries of Igni, fire birds, were so pleasant, their songs floating through the air, like angelic beings. Her parents calls to her made Illusion jump, causing the Igni right outside her window to cry out in shock and fly away in such precision she had to envy them. Getting off her plush bed, she called to her mother "I'm coming!"
She slipped out of her clothing, fetching a fresh pair. Once dressed, she headed over to the kitchen, where her parents stood. "Good morning, sweetheart!" Her mother exclaimed, kissing the top of her head, making Illusion groan in protest. "Mother, I am NOT a little kid anymore! I don't need you're hugs and kisses." Her mother nodded, her expression dulled. "You best be off to you're training, you don't want to be late." Realizing how long she had daydreamed, and looking at the time, she gasped. "Bye! I most positively must get going. Thanks for reminding me!" at that she shot off, heading towards the center of her village, where a group of beings her age were gathered.
She looked around for Mint and Lavender, her two friends. She spotted them eyeing Oynx, their senpai. She walked over to them, and heard them talking, but... they weren't talking about Oynx. They were talking about HER. 'Oh my, are they back talking me?' she thought, listening to their conversation....... |
